Better Day

Kylee did so good today. We made her walk several times and by the end of the day she was running around. The only bad part was that she kept tangling her IV cords and unhooking them because she kept forgetting they were still connected to her.

I went home to pick up Kortney and Kally while Klay and Kami stayed with her. Klay said that they couldn't keep Kylee away from the playroom while I was gone. They stayed a litter longer since they don't have school tomorrow before Klay took them home for the night.

Launa and Joanna had a gift basket sent to Klay, Kylee, and I. It had a bunch of fun treats in it and was fun.

The doctor came by and said that she is doing really good. He said that she still needs a couple more days of the antibiotic through her IV though, and then they'll see about getting us home. They had mentioned this morning that she could probably eat solids today, but decided she better stick to full liquids. This included chocolate milk and ice cream, so Kylee enjoyed sipping on that.

Kylee fell asleep on my lap while Klay and the kids were still here. She was exhausted.

Shortly after everyone left to go home, Kylee started coughing. Several times, it almost sounded like she was gagging. The nurse kept a close eye on her during the night, but said that her lungs sounded good. I'm wondering if she was just worn out from running around today.
