The batteries kept dying on my camera, so I didn't get many pictures. I'll have to get copies from Nisha. Here is one of Kally and Maranda.
And the other girls on the swings.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the trip was the crazy raccoon that kept steeling from us and growling at us. Klay and Steve even shot the bebe gun at it to try to get it to go away, but it kept coming back. It was a very brave little thing. At one point, it jumped up on our picnic table, grabbed a bag with cake mix in it, and wisked it off into the trees. And it was while some of us were sitting within a couple of feet from the table.
It was also bothering the people camping near us who tried to kill it with a real gun before we left. Our kids were not happy about killing it, even though it was scaring them. But we explained that because it kept coming back, it was probably dangerous. Who knows if it would have tried to bite one of us and what diseases it had.
