It was a fun, but crazy day! It started early this morning. We rushed the three older ones out the door to the neighbors to get a ride to school. Klay, Kylee and I piled in our car, picked up some other neighbors and headed to West Valley for Kylee's preschool halloween parade.
The preschool teacher always dresses like a witch. She lets the kids paint her face so that they won't be scared of her. Then she introduces all the kids one by one and tries to get each of them to perform a little something that has to do with their costume. Kylee (Cinderella) blew us a kiss. Then they sang a couple of halloween songs and walked around in a circle to show of all their cute little costumes. It was really cute.
After preschool, we headed to the Making Memories warehouse to pick up a car load of free stuff. I have boxes of paints, wood letters, and metal scrapbooking things. Call me or come by if you want some.
Next, I headed to the school to head up the halloween party for Kortney's class. I am the room mom for her class. So, it's hard to plan parties for 6th graders. We ended up playing the game where you put the name of a character on their backs and they have to ask yes/no questions to figure out who they are. They really had fun with it. If anyone has any other good game ideas, I'd love to hear them for the next holidays we'll be having parties for.
When school got out, we headed up to Angela's for pictures with the cousins. Amazingly they all sat together (without crying) and we got a couple of good ones.
