Fieldtrips and School Stuff

I went with Kami and Kally on their field trips this week.

Kally's 3rd grade class went to This is the Place Monument

Kami's 1st grade class went to Wheeler Farm

Kally's class also put on a Wayside School play this week that Klay and I were able to go and watch. It was really cute.

Kally was a narrator for one of the scenes.

They had Authors night at school this week too. Each of the kids spend the last several weeks writing their own book. They had all of them displayed so the parents could come see them.

Kally's was about oceans, animals, and gems. She had documented info and pictures about each subject. She worked really hard on it. It was very nice!

Kami's was a story about three little dolphins. It was similar to the three little pigs, but she changed things like "not by the scale on my finny, fin, fin" to go with dolphins and a shark. She was very creative and the story was really cute. She wrote all the words down in the book and drew pictures to go along with them.

Kortney's was a biography all about herself. She had been working on it for the last month. She had each chapter typed out and printed from the computer and then scrapbooked in the book. It is very nice!
