On the 4th of July, we met a bunch of extended family in Fredonia, AZ. My grandmother, Emma Bernice Brooksby Christensen grew up here. The Brooksby family had put together a float for all the family to ride on. Since we'd been at Lake Powell, we brought our 4-wheelers and rode them behind the float.
We also went to see the artifact museum that my mom's cousin has there in Fredonia.
After the parade we drove up to the Brooksby cabin near Alton, Utah. Here we had a family reunion. It was great getting to visit with family that we don't get to see very often.
