Well, its nice to get back into the routine of things, but I have to say, the summer went by way to fast. It seems like school just got out and now it's starting again.
Kortney started 7th grade at the Jr. High. She was pretty excited to start, and a bit nervous. She has to be at the bus stop at 6:50am. For those of you who know us well, you know we aren't morning people, it's way to early. She uses her phone as an alarm and the first day she sent me a text that said "Do I really have to get up in the dark?" "Um, yep" was my reply.
It only took a couple days to get the hang of it though. She has friends in some of her classes and on the bus. She is loving it! Now I frequently get texts from her on her bus ride home telling me she's made it onto the bus and she sends little smileys telling me "school is awesome"! This is a big relief to me. I'm soooo glad she's enjoying it.
Kally and Kami also started this week. Kally in 4th grade and Kami in 2nd. They both seem to be enjoying it so far. Kylee starts the neighborhood preschool next week and then the one in West Valley the next week. She is very excited to get started.
