Call it a sick day!

Kally woke up Saturday morning complaining that her foot hurt. She can't remember hurting it. The cousins were over on Friday night and they were wrestling around, but she didn't remember hurting it. So who knows.

She limped around on it all day. That evening and all day on Sun, Aunt Jojo helped her rotate cold and hot packs on it. This seemed to help a little, but this morning it was still hurting her and she wouldn't put any pressure on it. So, off to the doctor we went.

The good news is that the xrays didn't show a fracture. The doctor put a splint on it, which she has to keep on until Friday. Hopefully it will be better by then. If not, she may have to see an orthopedic specialists.



Kally probably could have gone back to school, but I think she's embarassed about having to hop around. So we let her stay home the rest of the day. We'll have to help her to class tomorrow and see how she does.

On our way home from the doctor, Kami called saying she didn't feel good so we picked her up from school. I'm glad we went to pick Kami up when we did though. She threw up not long after we got home. That would have been fun for the teacher at school. Yikes!
