My parents brought dinner to our house and stuff to make homemade icecream. Kally didn't feel like dinner, but when the ice cream was done, she ate some of that and chippered up pretty fast. I think she was starving.
The home care nurse, who happened to live not far from us (Danica Reader), came to show us how to use the pump and change Kally meds everyday. They brought a little backpack to keep the stuff in that Kally will have to carry around for 4 weeks.
Since her foot is still hurting, we got some crutches for her to use. She was trying to use the crutches with the backpack of stuff on and was getting pretty frustrated with all of it. She started to cry a couple of times. But, it didn't take her long to get it figured out and come to terms with what has to happen for a while.

Dear Kristen, my hear bleeds for you. I am so sorry that you have had to watch your sweet little girl suffer so. I am sad for her also. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I think you have had your share of hospital stays for a while.
hang in there. Hope to see you soon.
Love Lisa
Glad she is home! Danica is one of our nurses. Like Lisa said, you guys have had enough of PCMC and IV's for awhile. Let me know if you need anything.
